Blueline Care Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and motivated Support Workers / Care Workers to join our team in providing high-quality care to children and young people in our residential homes. This is a rewarding role for individuals who are passionate about making a positive difference in young people’s lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day care, support, and supervision for children and young people.
- Promote independence, life skills, and personal development.
- Support children with education, hobbies, and recreational activities.
- Build trusting relationships that create a safe and nurturing environment.
- Safeguard and protect the welfare of all young people in the home.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and care plans.
- Work as part of a dedicated team under the guidance of the Registered Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or vulnerable groups (desirable but not essential – full training provided).
- NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People / Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
- A caring, patient, and resilient attitude.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
