Blueline Care Services is seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead and manage one of our children’s residential homes. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and outcomes for children and young people.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the residential home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and children’s home legislation.
- Lead, support, and develop a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Promote safeguarding and child protection at all times.
- Manage budgets, resources, and staffing rotas effectively.
- Build strong relationships with local authorities, social workers, and families.
- Ensure individual care plans are tailored to each child’s needs and aspirations.
Requirements:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within children’s residential services.
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Passionate about improving the lives and futures of young people.
