Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (Full-Time)

Blueline Care Services is expanding and requires a dedicated Registered Manager for a second children’s residential home. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, resilient, and child-focused leader who can create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people.

Responsibilities:

  • Take overall responsibility for the running of the home and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead the implementation of care plans, ensuring individual needs are met.
  • Inspire, mentor, and manage staff to deliver outstanding care and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive Ofsted inspection outcomes.
  • Ensure safeguarding standards are upheld and incidents are managed appropriately.
  • Manage financial performance, reporting, and resources within the home.
  • Foster a culture of respect, inclusion, and achievement.

Requirements:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a leadership role within children’s residential care.
  • In-depth knowledge of children’s home regulations, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding.
  • A child-centred approach with a commitment to achieving the best outcomes.
  • Resilient, approachable, and able to build trust with staff and young people.
